Confirmation of Enrolment / Method of payment On receiving the registration form and payment of a deposit of €200.-, we will issue a confirmation of enrolment to the course participant. This serves as an invoice and contains all important information about the course, the arrival dates and the method of payment. The enire course fee must be paid at the latest 3 weeks prior to commencement of the course. Bank fees for money transfer will have to be paid by the participant. In case the course fee is not paid on time, we reserve the right not to admit the participant into the course. In case of minors registering for our Young People's Programme, they must be enroled by their guardian. In case the minimum number of students for the booked course is not reached, the course will only take place if the participants agree to a raise in course fee or a cut in the number of lessons. Curtailment and Cancellation Any notice of cancellations has to be given in written form. In case of cancellation of the enrolment up until 3 weeks prior to the start of the course, we charge an administration fee of € 100.-. If a participant cancels a course less than 3 weeks prior to the start of the course, 40% of the full course fee will be due as cancellation fee. If an enrolled participants does not arrive for the course, arrives late or curtails a course, he/she is not entitled to any kind of refund for the remaining lessons, the leisure programme or the accommodation. Missed days during the course ( for instance due to illness) cannot be added on at the end and do not entitle the participant to a reduction or refund of the course fee. If cancelling a hotel booking, the cancellation fee of the hotel applies. We recommend taking out travel insurance. In case our institute has to cancel a course, all payments made will be refunded in full. No further claims can be made. Changes to a booking (for instance to course dates) can only be made in exceptional circumstances and have to be agreed with the school. Accommodation The participant undertakes to respect the house rules and regulations which might apply to his/her accommodation. If a participant does not arrive on the date or within the time frame previously agreed, he/she is not entitled to accommodation for that first night. Insurance / Liability All insurance policies (health, liability, travel, or cancellation insurance) are the responsibility of the participant. The course participants are liable directly to the injured party (e.g. the landlord) for any kind of damages caused. If IGeL is, for any reason, held liable for any kind of damage caused by a course participant, IGeL is entitled to compensation. Insurance for participants of our programmes for young people is provided by the institute in the areas of travel health and accident insurance as well as personal claims cover. The institute cannot be held liable for cancellation due to force majeure or reasons which the institute is not responsible for. German law applies in all cases, court of jurisdiction is Regensburg.
